Grip failure is finally being solved.
Grip should be reliable in every movement. For a long time it was not, even with traditional chalk products. Chalkless offers a new approach to grip control.
Actually solving grip failure
Greg Pope and James Pidhurney spent their careers developing advanced coatings for extreme applications, from protection against Mach 4 heat in aerospace to barriers that keep ocean water out of nuclear submarines.
Then, during a hot tennis match, Greg noticed something simple but persistent: grip that had become unreliable. It clicked: a slippery grip was just another coating problem.
The real culprit turned out not to be sweat, but the oil the skin produces. After two years of experimenting in James's basement, Chalkless became a reality.

From idea
to success.
Every milestone below moved us forward: in the science, in the development of our product and in the performance of the athletes we do it for.
After yet another match full of slip and lost grip, Greg knew there had to be a better solution. He shared the problem with James. With their background in aerospace and defence, they were exactly the right people to take it on.
Greg and James quickly discovered that grip failure is not caused by sweat, but by skin oils merging with moisture. After hundreds of test batches in James's basement they had it: the Chalkless formula was born.
Chalkless made its debut at the PGA Show, presenting the product to the industry for the first time. That soft launch confirmed what Greg and James had known for a long time: they had something special.
Straight after the PGA Show, Major League Baseball expressed interest in coating baseballs with Chalkless. That early validation confirmed this was not just a product, but the birth of a new product category. The sport that depends on grip more than any other had noticed the potential.
In 2023 Chalkless went through a complete rebrand, sharpening its identity to match the science behind the product. The new look reflects a company ready to compete on a bigger stage. The foundation for the next step was in place.
In 2024 Chalkless stepped onto the Shark Tank stage and secured a deal with two sharks. National recognition in the United States, new investors and a product that had long since proven itself.
The expansion into Europe is a fact. In 2026 Chalkless is aiming for '1MT': getting the product onto the hands of one million people. From gyms to golf courses, from baseball fields to Hyrox events, the mission is simple. Once you have felt it, you never go back.
By The Numbers
Chalkless for the best grip.
The science is the same for every discipline. Find your sport and get grip without compromise.
